Terms of Service

These terms govern use of text inference services provided by Henry Gao, an independent provider in China (“we”, “us”). By submitting a request, you agree to these terms and any marketplace or order terms that apply.

1. Service

We provide API-based access to AI text inference. Model availability, context limits, throughput, latency, and features may change. Unless separately agreed in writing, service is provided on a best-effort basis without a guaranteed service-level agreement.

2. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for securing API keys and for all usage made with your credentials. Notify us or the applicable marketplace promptly if a credential may be compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You must comply with applicable law and may not use the service to facilitate unlawful activity, infringe rights, distribute malware, attack systems, bypass safety or rate controls, or interfere with other users. We may suspend traffic that threatens the service, infrastructure, or third parties.

4. Usage and fees

Prices, credits, payment terms, and usage measurements are those shown by the applicable marketplace or written order. Unless the applicable channel states otherwise, measured usage may include input, output, and reasoning tokens reported by the serving system. Taxes and payment-provider fees may apply.

5. Customer data

You retain your rights in submitted content and are responsible for having authority to submit it. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit sensitive or regulated data unless you have evaluated the service and established any required written agreement.

6. AI outputs

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on or publishing it, particularly for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions. We do not guarantee that output is unique or free of third-party claims.

7. Availability and termination

We may maintain, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue service. Either party may stop using the service, subject to outstanding fees and any marketplace terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including fees, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Disputes will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction at the provider’s place of residence. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.
